Anchor of Grace Community Church is a sacred place of worship, open to people from all backgrounds seeking to experience the Lords grace and presence in their lives. Our church is found on biblical principles which guide us through spiritual wisdom to lead exemplary lives as Christ like servants in the communities we touch.
Our mission is to glorify God first; in worship, prayer and faith in God’s sovereign grace in salvation. Through the power and guidance of the Holy spirit, we aim to lead the lost and suffering to salvation, the enlightened to victory, and to equip the community to become passionate followers and builders the kingdom of Jesus Christ.
ANCHOR: The word Anchor comes from Latin word Ancora “Anchor” Hook- that which gives stability or security to an object. Our church strives to provide the same stability to communities and the world beyond.
We believe in one God. Creator of all things on earth and heaven. Holy, infinitely perfect, and eternal embodiment of three equally divine: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Having limitless knowledge and sovereign power, God has graciously purposed from eternity to redeem a people for Himself and to make all things new for His own glory.
We believe that we were saved by grace and that through the Lord’s grace, were made righteous. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do" (Ephesians 2:8-10).
We believe in the personal, bodily and glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ. The coming of Christ, at a time known only to God, demands constant expectancy and, as our blessed hope, motivates the believer to godly living, sacrificial service and energetic mission.
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word to us. Spirit-Filled. We believe that God still speaks, acts, moves and works in our world. We believe in the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit that the Bible describes and that these are still given to and used by people in our world today..
We want to be a Church that always comes to God in prayer. Jesus says very simply in Mark 11:17; “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations’?”
We believe that God commands everyone everywhere to believe the gospel by turning to Him in repentance and receiving the Lord Jesus Christ... (Read More)
